I am the happy, proud and overjoyed owner of Star, a French bulldog puppy purchased from Elena on July 26 when she was 4.5 months old.  I named her Lucy, and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever with her health, although she was the runt of the litter and still looks younger than her age. My husband and I purchased our very first Frenchie from Elena  2 years ago. We had always wanted one and our older boxer was lonely so after much research online I chose Elena’s kennel. I was impressed from the very start with the quality of the pups. Elena and her husband Phil were very helpful and we were sent home with a healthy adorable female pup we named Peaches. She sent me home with food she had prepared , instructions on vet visits, vaccination records, chip, carrier and everything I could ask for. I took my pup to the vet in a couple of days and she was healthy. We lost our boxer due to old age and Peaches became depressed….she was lonely. So I checked out Elena’a website for puppies and saw litters and chose the male I wanted while he was still nursing. I hated the waiting but it was well worth it. We drove the 12 hour round trip from Merced CA to pick up our baby boy Buster. I must have driven Elena crazy with texts and e-mails checking on Buster before I was able to get him. She even sent me photos of him before I picked him up. Again we were given everything we needed to have a healthy happy puppy. And once again he checked out fine at our vet’s office.

But it doesn’t end there. We wanted to add another to our family after looking at the website! Buster was 6 mo old now so we called Elena. She recommended a male because 2 females would be more inclined to fight. I had already had my eye on one of her males so off we drove again….. Peaches and Buster with us…. To visit «Grandma» Elena :)  and get another baby!! The one I had my eye on was not the right personality type for me and after looking at several we chose a little orange male that we named PeeWee  everyone says their puppy is perfect but he really is!! He fit right in to our family. I want a 4th but Elena wisely said we should wait til PeeWee is at least 6 months . He has been to the vet and is healthy. Elena asks for pictures and videos all the time!

First off, I am committed to my review and will speak to anyone personally about my experience. Message me and I’ll happily provide a reference over the phone and in writing.

So, here we go. I visited Elena at Champion pups in 2015 where I met her and her husband, Phil. We met and played with a few puppies, but there wasn’t one we connected with. It’s very important to connect with your puppy and fall in love.  A year later I text Elena to see if she had a litter and explained who I was. She remembered me right away and was happy to let me visit. We live in LA and drove down to her home to meet some the latest litter of puppies. We fell in love! Her name started as Fancy but knowing she was young we were able to change her name to Lucy. We purchased Lucy in July 2016, only 3 months old. Elena and Phil gave us guidelines on how to look after, and develop Lucy to be a strong and healthy pup. There was a lot to remember, but the paperwork and tips helped. Elena is fantastic at her follow up. She called and text to check in on us and even gave Lucy all her shots FREE! We had to go back for a week for puppy shots, and we’ve been back every three months since for the pravo shot and for Elena to see Lucy. Elena loves her and still refers to her as Fancy. Elena remembers all her pups names.

Elena is THE BEST!!!!  Recently Lucy was playing with another small dog and took a tumble. A few hours later her back locked up and she went into temporary paralysis. It was 4 am and we were scared. We rushed to the emergency vet where they X-Rayed Lucy, took blood, examined her, gave her a pain killer shot and sent us home with Tramadol for pain. The vet said she would feel much better in 3-4 hours. That visit cost us just over $1000,00. We didn’t care. We wanted our Lucy to be better. After 5 hours Lucy was still in pain. Panting with her ears tucked back and still in Paralysis. I called Elena at 11:00 am. She told me to get in the car and drive with Lucy to Anaheim where she give Lucy a steroid shot to help Lucy feel better. In the car ride Lucy couldn’t move. She also hadn’t eaten, peed or pooped since the day before. As soon as we got to Elena ehs gave Lucy a steroid shot, and another shot to help Lucy’s appetite. Elena also gave us other tips to help with her recovery AND gave us vitamins and joint strengthener chews. All for FREE. Even the two shots.

In the car ride home Lucy began to relax and move. We began to feel relieved. Once we got home Lucy was able to stand. We pulled out her food and she ate right away. She gobbled up her food AND he was standing!!!  We couldn’t believe it! We then gave her vitamins and some valerian root to help her rest. Lucy slept for quite some time and appeared to be in no discomfort. Within hours of getting home, Elena called to check in and see how Lucy was doing. We explained her situation and Elena asked us to go to her house for the next 7 days for the steroid shot to aid the recovery. By the way, the emergency vet never followed up. They took our money and sent Lucy home with pain meds. Good old America. Nothing some pain med can’t fix.

Over the course of 5-6 days, we saw vast improvements in Lucy. While we needed Lucy to rest, she wanted to play with some toys one morning. It was hard to take her toys away but Elena explained how much Lucy needed her rest.

Elena has NEVER charged us once for this life-changing care.

Some people have complained about Elena and her qualifications. Some people have complained about the puppies getting sick. The puppy being sick might be a product of the owner’s environment and their attitude to puppy care. I don’t think puppies know their own bodies and need to be taught how to behave and in turn, take care of themselves. As for Elena and her qualifications, she is a trained and qualified vet from the Ukraine (Europe), but does it really matter where she is from? Elena is still a vet and one of the most caring vets I have met. She loves her puppies and cares very much for their wellbeing and development into adulthood.

Next time, the first call I make if Lucy has a problem will be to Elena. She knows the breed so well that I consider he to be more than a vet, but a French Bulldog specialist. Elena always answers her phone and responds to text as soon as she can. I’ve never been left worrying.

Most write a review to justify their purchase and or to hear themselves talk. I rarely write a review on anything. I too was suspect of all online sites and All Online Sellers. Elena and her husband Phil are above the board players and are reputable on all fronts, in my view, and RARELY does anything meet my expectation let alone exceed it. That said, Elena and Phil are the real deal! My French Bulldog got kennel cough and Elena was there to support us through the entire process as she is a Vet and knows what medicines are correct and in what strength. She provided the medicine and shots out of her own pocket and time and I am most happy to report that our French Bulldog is in the best of health! So in closing, you can have all the confidence in the world, that a transaction with Elena, will be forthright, and beyond suspicion.

Elena is amazing breeder, person 

with good heart, she loves her dogs deeply!

All you need to know in this review. I purchased a French Bulldog from Elena 3 years ago. We picked out a brother and sister from her online photos. When we got to her house we could immediately recognize both dogs from  all the puppies that she had on hand. She clearly is an expert in her field, and gained our trust immediately. We chose the male and he is extremely intelligent  and was quite easy to train.  We can never go anywhere that multiple people feel compelled to comment as to what a beautiful dog he is! Further that they have seen a lot of dogs but his body proportions are extremely striking. All that said we have called Elena to get her imput when a vet would say that our dog needed x or put him on this food, and ELENA would tells us that the advice was correct and or to disregard. She has ALWAYS BEEN RIGHT! Whatever Elena says to do we do and all turns out perfect. We have had the dog for three years and he has all our love. He has been on several airline flights and has travelled on several cross country trips, and could not be a better traveler and will wait to «do his business» until we can properly accommodate.

Bottom line…we have extremely high expectations and Elena has exceeded any and all of those pinnacles!

I was so nervous about buying a puppy on-line because there are so many scams out there but from the moment I spoke to Olena and Phil all of my worries were calmed. They are truely wonderful people who care about the puppies they raise. I bought a female Frenchie and she is just beautiful… even cuter then her pictures which I didn’t think was possible. She was so happy and healthy. I had expected her to be a little frantic from the travel and that she would need adjustment time, but she just jumped into my arms at the airport and started kissing me. Phil had made sure that the flight was taken care of and helped me through the process of picking her up and making sure that I got all of her papers and health records and I know that Olena raised her with lots of love because she is so well adjusted. During the period of us buying our puppy from Phillip & Olena we got to know them really well and they are great people.
